As the holidays approach, spread love to the families who count on us. This winter marks our 45th year serving our community, and the holiday season is always the hardest. We know this year will be especially challenging. The insecurity around SNAP (food), HEAP (heat), and other safety net programs will have devastating effects for people already struggling. But together, we can guarantee no family feels alone and hopeless.
Heart of the Hamptons is launching an Emergency Relief Fund that will provide immediate support to those in need. Join us to:
- Deliver Nutritious Meals: Deliver a week’s worth of groceries to families and individuals, ensuring they will have access to healthy, filling options no matter what.
- Give Happy and Festive Holidays: Make sure we can provide a turkey, chicken, or ham, plus holiday meal kits, to everyone who turns to us.
- Provide Warm and Safe Homes: Provide the resources for us to cover a home heating, electric, or rent payment for someone fighting to make ends meet.
What you can do:
- Donate: Every dollar counts. Your generous donations will directly support families in our community.
- Gather: Organize a food drive or collect monetary donations from others.
- Spread the Word: Share our story with your friends and family to increase awareness about the need on eastern Long Island.
