Dear Friends,

As the holidays approach, we THANK YOU for your unwavering generosity this year and every year. For many in our community, 2021 has proven to be an incredibly challenging year. Recovering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic may take many years for those already struggling to meet their basic needs. Thanks to your support, we have been doing our best to provide for the continued increase in demand for our services.

With the hardest time of the year before us, we continue to need your help. The winter months are our busiest, as seasonal work slows down and utility bills spike. We continue to serve nearly 3x the number of families as we did in 2019, and so we know our food pantry and assistance services are a vital lifeline for our community.

Throughout the holiday season, we hope to provide all the extra trimmings for festive holiday meals, including turkey, fish, fresh produce, and non-perishables. Every dollar donated will directly impact those in need and help to provide a Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s for local families!

Together, we have accomplished so much. But many in our community continue to struggle to afford the high cost of living in our area, often having to choose between which essential need they can meet. Our Assistance Program is a crucial support system for those facing unexpected expenses, illness, plus seniors and children in our community. The winter months only make things that much harder. Already this year, we have seen a dramatic increase in requests from school professionals, local social workers and food pantry customers to provide basic essentials such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, underwear, socks, coats, and shoes for children and adults in our community.

This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 to support local families during the upcoming holidays. In this season of giving, we invite you to join us in our mission of helping our neighbors. Our caring community continues to be the driving force behind Heart of the Hamptons, and we thank you for your continued support!

Wishing you and your loved one’s health and happiness this holiday season.

With deepest gratitude,

Molly Bishop

Executive Director

P.S. We couldn’t do what we do without you.

Will you help us reach our goal of $100,000 this year?
